The use of Open Educational Resources is spreading throughout the global field of education. Education has become increasingly expensive for consumers, governments, and other involved institutions. Students are often left with massive amounts of dept, especially in the United States.
Open Educational Resources (OER) have the potential to decrease the costs of education by significant amounts. But many still do not know about OER or the benefits it can provide.
This course is geared to encourage educators, curriculum creators, and curators of the school curriculum to include OER in their classrooms. It does so by providing key research data on the effectiveness of OER, and the perceptions of students.
